Xios Desktop (GNOME)

xios-gnome installs the complete GNOME desktop for Xios: GNOME Shell 46 on Mutter, running on the iPad GPU through the iosc compositor and ANGLE.

This one package pulls in the whole session: gnome-session, gnome-settings-daemon, dconf, the single-user service stubs (login1, PolicyKit, Accounts), the introspection typelibs the shell needs at boot, and the Adwaita look with icons, cursors, and a wallpaper.

After it installs, open the Xios app and the GNOME session starts. That is the entire setup.

GNOME apps pair well with it and install individually from this repo:

• gnome-console for a terminal
• nautilus for files
• gnome-text-editor and gnome-calculator

Needs iOS 16.5 or newer on a rootless jailbreak (/var/jb).
