KDE Plasma, desktop and mobile, on KWin
xios-kde installs KDE Plasma for Xios: KWin plus three shells (Plasma Desktop, Plasma Mobile, and Plasma Nano), rendered on the GPU through the iosc compositor and ANGLE.
It pulls in the Qt 6 runtime, the KDE Frameworks 6 subset Plasma needs, KWin, System Settings, KScreen, PowerDevil, and the Breeze icons and style.
Every KDE app ported so far comes with it:
After it installs, open the Xios app (Home Screen icon X11) and pick a session. Plasma Desktop is the pointer-and-panel layout you know from a Linux desktop; Plasma Mobile is touch-first and the more natural fit for an iPad. From the shell the same three are xios-session kde, kde-mobile, and kde-nano.
Plasma on Xios is newer than the GNOME flavor and still experimental, so expect rough edges, and file what you hit on GitHub.
About 610 MB installed. Requires iOS 16.5+, on a rootless jailbreak (/var/jb). The floor comes from KWin's DRM/GBM library chain.
